VPN on wing issue

I've been trying to get a pptp vpn connection running on my wing that I bought today and have hit a snag. For some reason its not directing traffic through the vpn. I know the vpn is connecting fine, but if I open a browser up, it closes the vpn connection. I'm sure this is some simple setting I can change that you htc gurus now how to fix.

maybe change the wirless setting
open "setting"---“connecting” and you can see two connections there , both change to the vpn connection you set
i dont konw whether this works, but worth a try
