SIM Card Doest Read CECT HIPHONE

Hello, If anyone could please help me I would greatly appreciate it. I bought a CECT HiPhone the latest version of it 800i. Works great except the SIM card doesnt read so I have no service I was wondering if someone knows how to fix this problem to to direct me into the right direction. i have the same issue and have not found an answer yet. maybe we both got bad phones?
