I have a weird scenario. I unlocked my phone and everything seems to work fine. I have ATT for my service and recently went to DR. We had 6 other members of our group that had ATT, two of which have iphones that are locked. Everyone was able to pick up the local wireless provider "Claro" except me.

Is this a known issue with unlocked phones? or is it a plan issue. unfortunately and unbelievably I could not find a paper clip to try someone's sim in mine.

Any ideas?

i just got back yesterday, i was able to pick up claro just fine with my ATT sim in there just about everywhere i went. and with an orange pre-paid sim in i had service all over as well. did you try a soft reboot?

Yes I did. I don't think I have International Calling on my plan. Do you think it is a calling plan issue? This is weird.

I dont have international calling either so thats not it.
