Mac and Sidekick = no?

Wow... I've searched google, howardforums and everything. So there is no way to sync contacts or ical on my mac onto sidekick?
The only feasible way is to use missing sync, but even that project has been abandoned.

you are correct, the missing sync is the only way.
Reports say that it still works, but you will have do throw away your plist file every so often to get back to the beginning of the demo period - sad.
