The whites don't match completely, I expected it to look a lot better, and it probably would have if the whites matched... don't know whether I'm going to keep my phone this way....

What do you guys think?

It looks pretty good. Better than the regular White/Black for sure. Its like the polar opposite of my recent 100% black S500 mod.

It is from the pink one, I have a black and pink one now just sitting around... haha

Looks great, though I prefer the gray model, but that' just me. Btw be careful on how hard you press on the buttons by the screen (c, back, etc.), the left button on mine has broken off of one of its little clips that sit inside and now it seems a bit loose, though still works fine.

so u actually bought a pink w580 just for the swap? anyways, i think it looks very nice still. Here's an idea to make it more complete buy the S500 white/copper keypad from cnn.cn to get rid of the orange buttons, that is unless you alright used the pink phone's keypad already.

Currently, the only thing "pink" about the phone is the white centre... the back plate is orange, the keypad is white/orange, the d-pad lights illuminate orange... etc

the pink and black doens't look as good because its a white keypad... but overall pink/black isn't too bad for a girl

KD,

Replacement buttons are available at Cellular Nationwide Network, (Hong Kong). I made two orders to them via paypal and no problems. Removal of front 580i cover is relatively simple one-step process using guitar pick or plastic pry. There is a dismantling guide available on web.
