ihave an ic502 that I would like to tinker with but cant find any software flashes or unlocking info on it. Can someone point me in the right direction ?

I can access the IC502 FTS menu with the following:

##DEBUG# + 040793

Not sure if that will help, but figured I would share what little I do know so far about the IC502. I am on a mission to learn more about this phone since it is a dual mode CDMA for voice and data / iDEN for Nextel services, it makes it even that much more interesting.

use bit to find spc code nvm seem4d4d then flash with qpst to cricket

where do I find seem 4d4d in bitpim?

Posted by: Matt171

actually use bitpim and use seem 0055

Posted by: bigjam8

ok where do I find seem 0055?

First off, Mr. Crickety, NO ONE sells the "ic" series of phones but Sprint, because they are dual mode CDMA/iDEN, and Cricket is a PCS carrier. Second, BitPim is not even equipped to do SEEM editing. I would not recommend SEEM editing an iDEN phone, due to the fact that little is known about them.

ok here you go. I use cdma workshop to change the prl to cricket. That is correct on seem 0055 for the spc. Yon can have both cricket on the cdma side and boost or nextel on the 2 way side.

lol.......you are wrong i do this on all my ic models and i sell them like chocolate,, you are not seem editing the iden part only the cdma lol.....

Well I know a few people here in Tucson flash the iden phones. I also don't like people telling me "you can't" or "it can't be done". No guts No glory!! So someone please, please tell me how to read the spc code on the 502.

Do you have bitpim program? if not it can be found at www.bitpim.org

Posted by: bigjam8

I have bitpim and I can get it to read. I just can't find the spc

Posted by: CKwireless

what folders are you looking under?

First of all i just want to tell scottmac112 don't take any offense to this and with all due respect but shut the f'k up because aparently you don't know anything on flashing the hybrid devices so you shouldn't put your 2cents into this post. And in regards of this ---->I know Flashing/Activation/Unlocking
Don't hesitate to e-mail at scottmac1120(at)gmail.com
I would take it down cause believe me because of what you just said I would hesitate in emailing you. Ok now im done.

Alright man if you haven't figure it out yet these are the 3 programs that you'll need if im correct.
1. RDS Lite, so your computer will read the phone unless you have the drivers this prog needs to be running while you get the spc.
2.p2k seem, to get the spc use 0055 seem edit like some people have already said
3.cdma workshop to upload the prl

There you go hope this helps if you need step-by-step instructions just pm me and ill help you out.

P.S. scottmac112 no offense
