it would probably help if your provided some information. why do you say it is "bricked" (chances are it is not). What went wrong? Are you getting any errors? If so, what are they?

yes use ziphone. maybe your wifi will go out. maybe you'll get no signal / no service. maybe installer wont be there after you jailbreak. oh or even better if you attempt the wifi fix, caused by the program itself, you can have a hard coded mac address. [/sarcasm]

in all seriousness, you should just pwn it. (PwnageTool)

I used ziphone 2.6 and I don't have a hardcoded MAC address. I compared my MAC address to that of what people claim.

I don't have a broken wifi as well. Please get your facts straight. The hardcoded MAC address was an attempt to fix iPhones that have faulty hardware by the author of ziphone.

Those who have successfully unlock/jailbreak/activate using ziphone far outweighs those who have the problems you claim. Otherwise, we'll read even more complains.

I say it is caused by user error, router settings or faulty iPhone hardware. Unfortunately, everything someone has a problem with wifi, the first answer is use iLiberty+ and blame it on ziphone. And chances are if it was user error to begin with, the problem will be fixed and you re-inforce the idea ziphone caused the error. If problem is not fixed, then they chalked it up to ziphone caused irreprebal harm to the phone.

The hard coded MAC address is done when you use the wifi fix in ziphone. In fact, I have been told that the Mac address actually says zibri in ASCII, but haven't checked myself so don't know the truth to that one. If you hung around and helped people in the ziphone channel you would know how many people have in fact had problems after using ziphone and their phones were working fine before using it.

Anyhow, this isnt the place to argue these programs against eachother as the OP thinks he has a bricked phone.

Again, jaycee916, if you tell us the problems you encountered we can actually try to help you...

dude jus get ziphone cus it works. i never used pwnage, mayb it will work

anytime ziphone doesn't work, dfu restore and do it again, a million people have used ziphone, and there are really not that many horror stories with it. It wont brick you phone. Actually bricking the phone is next to impossible now.
