How can I BLOCK incoming text messages from a SPECIFIC number?

My ex won't leave me the hell alone.
Before I get the police involved, are there any apps that can be used to block incoming text messages? I use PhotoContacts Pro to block all her calls and it works like a charm..

Is there any software out there that can do this?
It's going to be used on an Audiovox SMT5600 with WM2003

I not that familiar with T-Mobile, but a lot of carriers allow blocking of text, by text. With Alltel you can send a text , " B 123-456-7890 to 8888" and it will block all text from the number 123-456-7890. I don't know if this will work on T-Mobile, but you could try it out.

Doesn't work, thanks.

Nothing like that I can do with Tmobile, looking for a 3rd party app..

I cant log into the account to see how this works but here you can try it. If shes got a cell on your network type in hernumber@tmomail.com as the block. this should filter text from her number just like it would filter spam from an email account. If shes not on T-Mobile, use her carriers email address. PM me if you are confused.

Hope it helps

Wirelessly posted (HTC Polaris: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 7.11) 1.0/HTC_Polaris)

there is an application called kapersky mobile but I costs 30 dollars. it is anti viRus but also has some sms block functionality

Just downloaded/installed kaspersky mobile. Added the number to the block list but it still keeps coming up.

And Lime, she has Cingular/ATT

You should still be able to block her, it works on the incoming address. Which for her would be her mobilenumber@sms.att.net her texts come from a web address, you should be able to block that address by putting in her mobilenumber@sms.att.net for the block

According to the t-mobile site, that only works if the text message is being sent to him via him tmomail.net email address NOT a direct text message via phone.

Try Call SMS Blocker, I'm not sure if it will work for WM Standard but I use it on the professional version and it'd great.

dont hold me to this, but i think photo contacts pro 5 has a way to block/reject calls and texts from a certain number

Yes it does and it works very nicely. It is highly customizable; however using it for only that feature I would not recommend. Use Call Firewall or any other SMS blocker.

These software solutions are not the same as blocking. The phone is still accepting the messages, they're just not being shown.

Contact your provider instead of wasting time with guessing games. If that doesn't work, time to get a restraining order and/or press charges.
