I currently have AT&T, but I'm wondering if I can still unlock my already activated iPhone, or do I have to restore it? Thanks

you can unlock it with restoring,

however its ALWAYS a good thing to restore

I'm a installer rookie and I am also on AT&T plan, so I have a couple questions:
1) What do you mean by "restore"?
2) What installer should i use for the 1.1.4 software?
3) I want to install NES roms. Can I install it without screwing up my plan/software?
