Palm Centro Accounting Software Needed - Odd Request Though

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

This is a bit of an odd one hence we couldn't find the answer via searching. My wife just got a Palm Centro and needs an accounting software. The thing is all she needs it to do is be able to record checks she receives and the amount then once synced she needs to be able to print simple reports. It doesn't need to be a full accounting package with in's and out's just needs to record the checks. Any ideas?

How bout Pocket Quicken. . It integrates with Quicken and looks to have the features your looking for I think.

Pocket quicken would certainly work. Only thing is that the it seems like you would need to buy both pocketquicken for $60 as well as quicken desktop for $30. Not in and of itself the end of the world but it does way more than what we need. Something much less complicated would be better I think.

Suppersppy what does she use on her desktop to do what she is trying to do now? Maybe SplashMoney could work for you. I think you can open the file in Excel and print reports. Check out www.splashdata.com

right now she just has a notebook she uses. When she gets a check from a client she writes the date and amount. All she needs is something that can do that on her palm except add to it the ability to generate reports from that data and backup.

EDIT: Looking into splash money.

This is a bump. It's looking like the answer is going to just be the cheapest most stripped down accounting software. Any suggestions for that?

I have not but I will. Anyone have a suggestion for a well designed, easy to use free accounting package?
