Installed this new App and it's free unlike CameraPro...

Snapture has a couple of interesting features...

Yup, just installed it. Only 85kb and quite a number of features compared to the basic camera app which is well basic.

However the default camera app is fast. Snapcam takes around 2-3 secs to save the snap. That sort of laggyness reminds me of my old Nokia N73 which I ditched for the snapiness of the iPhone.

However this could be individual to me, its definitely worth checking it out for the extra and very useful features.

Really good app. Works good on the 1.1.4. Best of all it is free not like CameraPro.

If you are running 1.1.2 and under there is a problem with saving pics. I am on 1.1.4 and have no problems savings pics.

Actually, it works fine on my 1.1.1. All features work great and I got burst mode to work too ! It used to be that it would kick me back to homescreen after the third picture is taken -- but I found that if I dont wait for the spinning circle to stop spinning and go directly into "Pictures", my burst pictures get saved ! Woohoo ! Great app !!

Great app! Camerapro is too pricey especially considering these features should have been included. Cant wait for the App Store and all the competition driving down the prices.

You don't click the icon to take a picture, that's just to get you back to the camera interface if for example you go to preferences. Just click on the screen to capture an image (above the icons).

i installed it on my iphone and it doesnt work. i click on it and it looks like its going to open the app, but just closes it instantly. anything i can do and fix this?

i already unistanlled it and reinstalled it. didnt fix it. any reason why an app would behave like this?

Try to change the permissions on the folder and the files to 755.

under applications folder in winscp? do i check anything else off? the set UID, set GID and STICKY BIT are not checked off. do i leave those alone?

On my 1.1.4 iPlus jailbroken phone I've had to change my permissions for just about everything to 0777 to get them to work (755 didn't work for me)...

Strange...

I'm running 1.1.4 - Boot Loader Version has nothing to do with the Application if it will run or not...

Snapture Version 1.0 installed from the Installer from BigBoss Source...

I installed it, shut down and powered back on the iPhone and it works right off the bat...

No modifications in regards to file rights...

Maybe for the guys that it doesn't work should uninstall Snapture - power down - power up - reinstall Snapture from Installer from BigBoss Source - power down - power up and it will work...

I love this app. Although the lag between pics is kinda annoying. What's really sold me on this app is that for those of us that use swirlymms when you send pics that were taken with this app, they actually send in the correct orientation.

I'm on 1.1.4 and just wanted to warn people to make sure and upgrade to the latest version of this (I think the new one was released yesterday?). I almost uninstalled it as it seemed to take only about 6-8 photo's and then began replacing the oldest photo's by erasing them to add the new ones. Not sure if it was just a bug in mine or what, but just wanted to give you a heads up before you lose a bunch of cool pics like I did.

i cant get it work. i have uninstalled it and reinstalled it like 3 times. i also changed the permissions to 0755 and 0777 and what not. all it does for me, is it opens up for a second or two and then closes. i guess i will just pass up on it. the same goes with camera pro app. i have downloaded other apps and they work good. go figure with these 2 wont work.

open up term vt-100 and cd to /Applications
chmod 755 Snapture.app
chmod 755 Snapture.app/*

Try it after you run those two commands.
Does your camera app work at all? Did you download via installer or did you download the file to your PC and transfer the folder over via WinSCP?

i tried those 2 commands you listed above and no good. my stock camera app does work fine. i got the application via the installer.
