How to unlock SE W580i, wanna use fido

Hey Guys!
I bought the W580i for my wife, but she wanna change to fido now! At this moment i found out the phone the fully locked with Rogers, somebody did send me about how to put ur back to the original setting which is can be use the self ringtone funtion and no more Rogers logo, but after i try to put her Fido sim card in there, it doesn't get any Signal. So does anybody did unlock ur w580i? if u would like to help me, please teach me hoe i need to do. thanks for help guys!!!
