V3m (Sprint) Echoing

Hi,
I have a V3m from Sprint. Actually 2 including my wife's. Both have the same issue. When speaking you can hear what you say repeated in the earpiece right after. The party on the other end can't hear this. I also have a new Samsung m520 that doesn't do this but the call quality stinks where I work so I want to go back to a Razr. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
