Removing Applications from Pantech DUO?

Anyone know how to truly remove / uninstall the following:

My-Cast Weather
Myspace Mobile
Scrabble Blast
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07
Brain Challenge
Midnight Pool
JewelQuest2

I suspect most of these apps, including all the AT&T crapware is all in the ROM and can't be removed huh?

All the above apps show up in the Java area but they don't have an uninstall / remove option.

Why for the love of all that is holy can't there just be a clean ROM for the Pantech Duo. Why must AT&T load all this crap in these ROM's?

I find it funny that companies like AT&T take so long to release ROM updates because of "testing", when the issue is not the clean ROM but compatibility with all this crapware they load on there.

Just an update... I performed a ROM upgrade to the latest version available from Pantech and then took a closer look at this issue.

RasnCain was correct. It is all in the ROM... Short of some madness like a ROM recompile and re-flash, I found no way to remove it. Irritating...
