For those of you who like the Sunbeamz ringtone provided by SE, I have found a sample clip which sounds very similar but a little more upbeat and decided to make a ringtone out of it. Hope you like it!

The sunbeamz tone is one of my favorite. Just simple and sounds pleasant to the ears.
One question though, How do I get the ringtone cycle to repeat once more. Its cutting off too quickly.
Anyone know?

You have to call AT&T customer service to ask for it to be longer. They are actually very willing and helpful when it comes to stuff like that.

Normally with certain carriers, you can just type in a code on your phone and send it out. AT&T doesn't support that. I think those are called phone strings? Anyway, just call AT&T cust. service.

P.S. Awesome ring tone!

P.S. x2 What is the original version? I haven't heard it before. Can anyone post it?

i was also interested in hearing the original version after hearing this nice remix so i did a little searching. at first i could only find results of people asking how they could remove the tone. after some more searching though, i found a .m4a file of it.

Actually, you can extend it yourself. I lost the code, but there is a GSM code that you can enter to extend the ringtime on all GSM phones. It cannot be longer than 30 seconds though. If you search here for it, you should find it. I know that I have posted it in the past.

you're welcome. i'm having a hard time deciding which version to use as my ringtone.
i'm in palatine but i'm closer to lake county than cook county so i do all of my shopping in lake county to save on tax.

I found it, oddly enough. You need to know your local voicemail number.

Enter this code:

*61*+11 digit local voicemail number*11*time in seconds you want it to ring, in 5 second increments max 30 seconds# SEND

So it looks like this: *61*+123456789101*11*25# SEND

You will get an odd confirmation of some sort. It will be set after that. You can change it any time.
