tzone on iPhone questions

1. I am going to get the tzone plan, how do i go about doing this? contact tmobile and just have them switch my plan? or do it online via desktop interface (currently on sidekick plan)

2. How many texts messages am I allowed to send on the tzone plan?

3. If anyone has a Sidekick LX and now has a iPhone can you please give me a speed comparision?

1. If it's sidekick only plan, you're screwed and can't add t-zones.
2. None. Unless you have a texting addon, you'll be billed accordingly.
3. Uhh the iPhone has real html browsing, and it's still faster then the LX.

Thanks, but I won't have a Sidekick LX no more (giving it to a friend). So I'll cancel that sidekick plan and I am able to switch my plan to tzone and get the iPhone working right?

I might have been slightly confused, do you have a voice plan? If so then yes, t-zones can be added. I thought you had the 29.99 sidekick data only plan.

Yup I have a voice plan on my Sidekick.

Here's my situation: I'm giving my SK to a friend so I will be canceling my SK data plan. I want a iPhone on tmobile so my question is if I will be ok just getting tzone and using my voice plan aswell for the iPhone.

yeah. you'll be fine. just make sure you download the tzones patch from installer with wifi first.

you're awfully nice to just give the LX away.

What is the name of the patch and where on the installer is it located?
