Does anybody know how to master reset a blackberry 8820, does it change anything like getting add bloatware off the phone?

I don't know of a Master Reset. A battery pull would be the closest thing to it. It doesn't remove any software, data or features. Do that, you need to wipe the device.
To wipe it clean options > security > general settings > menu > wipe. Make sure you have a backup just in case. To really wipe it clean, you can use Use JL_Cmder and use the "resettofactory" command. http://www.blackberryforums.com/members/d_fisher.html
By bloatware, what do you mean?

Oh ok, well I use to have a nokia 6682 and it came with stuff that would clogg up device memory that otherwise could be free, master reset and the stuff wouldn't be their anymore. Would it make the phone run any faster. Bloatwear like the att mall and other att apps that arn't needed.

If you want to remove apps then remove them. Neither the device wipe not the hard reset will remove unwanted apps.
