blazer no longer works on my centro

I just got this phone about a week ago. I had not installed any apps on it before it broke.

The problem I am having is I am unable to connect to any webpages. It says "Browser Error" "Unknown error. URL: and whatver url I am trying to goto"

I originally had the problem of whatever website I would goto it would ask if I wanted to download some type of file and the website would never pull up. Now I no longer get that error, it simply says it is trying to redraw some website at the top of my screen and then I get the browser error. Has anyone had this happen before? I went by the att store and they had no idea how to fix it. Please help as I have no way of getting online now.

Well, I'd first try a soft reset. If no go, then a hard reset. Just make sure you've synced or backed up with NVBackup or similar program before the hard reset. If a hard reset doesn't fix it try to get AT&T to replace the unit.

well I figured it out, tried a soft reset, no luck, tried a hard reset, no luck. So I searched online some more. Found a random post that mentioned something about proxy.

What fixed the phone was going into preferences for blazer, advanced tab and clicking on proxy. In the proxy menu unclick the option for use carrier proxy. After that it worked fine.

Hope this helps someone else in the future.
