how do I do this? I want to transfer a 30 second mp3 and use it as a ringtone.

You can send it via bluetooth from your computer to the BB.

you have to first pair the devices in the BT manager.

Then you have to go into the media section of the BB>hit the menu button>receive using BT...

See if that works

Hey man, I'm in the same boat since I have a mac. What I do now is upload the clip to http://www.myxertones.com/explore. Then from there you can have it send to your phone for free. They also have a bunch of other ringtones.

bluetooth transfer ended up working but it didnt originally because I tried uploading the whole song which was like 11MB haha

It's the icon that looks like a film reel with a music note next to it. If you can't see it, you might have it hidden. Press the menu button and select "Show All."
