Ok guys first I have look and searched all over the place but I still have a few questions. First things fist though I am on ALLTEL and all this info will be a for a buddy of mine that just got his iphone and is on AT&T. I told him I would look around and see if we could add to his phone.

1st can he jailbreak this phone and still use att I have seen a lot of people ask this but no one really answers the question. (He like the service he has and don’t want to change)

2nd best option for the jailbreak ziphone or liberty or any others that I have not ran in to yet. I am not a programmer but I can get my way around on a pc very well.

Any issues that he might have after the jailbreak?
I have seen where wifi doesn’t work anymore loss of service altogether.

And last thanks for the help I know it gets old answering questions over and over. I just want the straight answers.

OH and every one that replies I will send a pm on how to get any videos, songs mp3 from just about any web site and convert it to just about any format. I use this software to put movies and full DVD on my moto roker. I also put about 10 music vids from youtube on the buddies I phone.This is as easy as save convert and sync with i tunes. I tried to post this before but was told to take it down. (Copyright crap)

1. yes, i would reccemend this if you already have ATT activated phone

2. Ziphone works, but downgrades the bootloader if you are unlocking the phone. Some ppl don't like that, so the general recommendation is to use PWNAGE (mac only right now, windows version is coming). On the other hand Ziphone is fine just for jailbreaking. very easy process

since im just jailbreaking would it still down grade the bootloader?

yes u can jailbreak and still use att. I do that all is ok.

dont use ziphone its stolen code and is bad
