W380 Review

I'd say it's a pretty good phone for it's price. Of course, the camera can be better, but who can complain. An excellent replacement to the W300 imo.

thx for the link. I'm sure I saw this phone at pacific mall back around christmas time. Maybe I was wrong if it says 'coming soon' on the Ericsson canada site.

Still looking for a good replacement for my w600i. The w580i doesn't come close to cutting it for me. Hopefully the 380 will cause I'd be buying it outright seeing as rogers don't carry it.

Anyway, enough babbling.

Read the review.............Sold. Sounds very much w600 like. And it's a flip which has me even more sold.
Especially love the sound of that gesture control. Set the alarm for the same old 5:30 am, Alarm goes off, no need to feel around for it, just a quick wave of the hand over the top of the phone and it's on snooze. Brilliant.

I'll assume you have to actually physically pick it up to turn it completely off. I hope anyway, cause that could mean many late days at work. lol

Again, like the w600i, an external lock switch. Fantastic. Double touch of the external walkman control buttons, so that they won't be activated accidentally with one quick brush when in your pocket.

Right then, back goes the LG Shine tomorrow, Sold is the w580i, and then i'm off to Pacific Mall to bag one.

Did you happen to notice any info on the MSRP? The reviewer repeatedly stressed how it was a 'lower end' phone so I'm hoping nothing over $200 CAD.
