Backlight does not turn off!?!?!? Any help?

This is a little weird! I checked that the settings are correct... I have it so the backlight turns off after 10 seconds. It has been working fine for months until yesterday and when the keypad is not locked the screen always stays on!

I wouldnt care usually but if I forget to lock my keypad the battery would die within a couple of hours.

While im on the battery subject, heres another issue the battery will show 3 bars for a while then if I use it more instead of showing 2 then 1 bars it just goes right to 0 and it warns you that you might lose your info blah blah blah

If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it.

Have you tried removing the battery from the phone? I'd try removing it and trying and see if it helps, otherwise I'd call in for a warranty claim exchange. 800-801-1101

Of course I tried that! This phone is just one annoyance after another.

hey i have to ask the obvious sometimes. I'd call in to exchange it then. I absoutely love mine... way better than the BJI. Haven't had one issue with it since it came out months and months ago now.

I was having a bit of an opposite problem. The backlight turned off after 10 seconds instead of 30 that it was set to. To correct it, I went to the power management screen then pressed Done. After that it was fine. That problem went away at some point.
