BlackJack II - Right soft-key "context"

I recently picked up a BlackJack II and was disappointed with the right-soft key functionality (while at the Home screen). I also have a Moto Q9h and it has a feature where the right soft-key function changes based on events - like a new message.

I found some posts on changing the right soft-key function permanently (meaning from "Contacts" to something else), but nothing on how to enable the context-specific function. While trying this out, I ran across a key in HKCU/Software/Microsoft/Home called "DisableMRE". It sounded like that might mean "Disable Most Recent Event" or such, so I tried setting that value to a 0 (from a 1) and rebooted the phone.

I now have a context-specific right soft-key and I'm happy. If this was bugging anyone else, you now have the option to correct it.

I have the BJII and did the registry fix (Thanks!). My kids have the BJI which I had upgraded from WM5 to WM6 and it had the same problem. The same registry tweak also worked on their phones. For some reason, it seems that with WM6 Standard (at least for Samsung phones), the context specific right soft key is turned off by default. Why they would do that, I haven't a clue when it worked fine with WM5.

Sorry to be dumb, but what exactly does this tweak? I don't understand per the description in earliers posts. Can someone give a better example?

Edit:: NEVER MIND, found my answer in another forum post...

Could you or someone else provide a more step-by-step walkthrough to changing this registry setting?
