can't disable edge with 1.1.4 please help!!!!

Ive downloaded services, net-services, bossutilities and itoggle and none of them seem to disable edge, itoggle doesn't even open.... is there anything I'm missing here?

I use bossprefs and it disables my edge and I am on 1.1.4.

I also used bossprefs and 4 some reason it does't turn it off. I jaillbroke with iliberty and I have restored twice already... I don't know what's wrong and I'm getting a little frustrated now.....

even tho you disable edge, you still have the icon on the top btw. if thats what your wondering

I think with legit att sims, edge can't be disabled; or its seems so b/c the only ones complaining about not being able to disable it are legit att customers. With most other carrier sims there is an option to enter edge settings where as att sims do not give this option. I think they are automatically enabled through the carrier bundle settings within the phone when an att sim is inserted. There may be a way to edit these files allowing you to see the edge settings option allowing you to disable or atleast delete the settings in order to disable edge. But, my question is if you have a legit att plan why disable edge?

well I live in Puerto Rico, so there's no such thing as an iPhone plan here since there's no iPhone available, I currently have a family talk plan with pay per use data, hence, turning off edge. any suggestions? the thing I want u guys 2 know is, I just upgraded to 1.1.4 two days ago, when my phone was running 1.0.2 I had the services app working flawlessly (no edge) since upgrading I can't get any of these apps to disable this... I think I should call AT&T and tell them to cancel the edge services....

I can select OFF for EDGE, but as soon as I go back into the program, it's back on. Oh well, it's not exactly killing my battery.

I never had a problem on 1.1.1. If I turned it off, the carrier would reset itself, and going back into the services program would show EDGE off.

BSD should be one of the first things you install on a newly jailbroken phone.
