Gz'One Type S: Caribiner Loop or antenna?

Howdy,

All you Type-S users: are you using the loop antenna to attach the phone to your pants, backpack, or other objects?

It is way too easy and convenient to do this using a metal caribiner. However, the manual states not to let anything metal get near the antenna.

I hate to let metal things, esp metal things close to my body, come near the antenna and cause the phone to go into high power mode, amplify the signal, or do anything else to increase the amount of RF going into my body.

Of course, the phone usually resides in my pocket, alongside keys, swiss army knives, and other such things.
