Sony Ericsson PC Suite 2.10.46 doesn't seem to work on my computer

Everytime i try to install it a "failed to load resource" dialogue comes up, with the options of either "yes" or "no", if yes is clicked, the computer restarts, if no is clicked, it just closes.

Ive searched google, but with no success. Many people seem to have experienced the problem, although I cant find a solution. Extracting it shows various files, all which dont work including the 32bit one, which says "error applying transforms. Very that the specified transform paths are valid."

After a successful installation at one point somehow, a problem occured, probably due to the cable being plugged in, the file did not work properly. Ive tried uninstalling it today, although it says it is missing files, so i decided to delete all the files with no success. Now i can't install other versions, nor can i install the current version. So im stuck. Any help please?

If anyone can help that'd be great, the main reason I want to install it is due to it allowing my w810i to connect to the internet. Are there any other programs that allow this?
