Hi everybody,
Just swithced to my old phone, 705sh yesterday. The phone detected the card (normal-memory-card-icon apperars on the top of the screen) but then I found out that it couldn't format my micro sd 1gb card. I just don't know what to do and find out what are the menu(s) in 'memory card' section (menu -> connectivity -> memory card) that I can click. Afterall, all I can find is just 'restore', and I just clicked it, hope to find that maybe after this I can format my memory card.
But here comes the worse, memory card menu now becomes half-invisible (I can't click on it anymore). I tried to remove the card and put it back, but the only thing that happens is on the top of the screens, there is a break-into-half-memory-card-icon. The memory card's menu remains half-invisible.
What can I do to 'un'restore memory card menu?
And what can I do to format the card?
Hope you guys can help me solve this problems.

If you have a USB memory card reader, try read it on your PC and see what happened to it. Perhaps format it in Windows Explorer will help.

A broken-in-half memory card icon means the phone's having trouble reading it. Make sure it's inserted properly (the 705SH's card socket is a bit quirky) and if it still won't fix up, trying reading it in your PC; if your PC can't read it then try formatting it there using the FAT file system, then give it another try in the phone.

Thanks for the replies, pks & AL9999. Will try the steps.
The phone's card socket is ok, confirmed it with another micro sd. Look like the problem is the card.
