I had to get a new V9m from Alltel this weekend because some apps quit working on my old one, and quickly found out I couldn't apply my personal ringtones and it wouldn't bluetooth to my laptop anymore. Needless to say I was a little peeved. However I was able to fix the ringtone problem after reading through this thread: http://howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1332983 It was little time consuming since I'm a noob and all but it did work. I was not able to fix the bluetooth problem but I guess I can live with that for now. Personally I think the new software is a breach of contract. I signed a contract for the old phone AND it's features. I would have never bought the phone if those features were disabled. I would be a little more understanding if I had to get a new phone because of negligence on my part but that isn't the case. Just my 2 cents. |

If you had you would have the seen the title of, "New Software: ROKR Z6m & RAZR2 V9m" I guess I'm just an idiot thinking the two threads were somehow related.

no seems editing or anything. The one thing you HAVE to do is rename the ringtone to "ringtone".qcp from .mp3 just change the extention that's all |
