anyone know of any good cell modding shops in the Seattle ARea? I want to get some LCD's for my 8290 and my 3390, and maybe invert the LCD on my 8290 (since it's my backup phone and if it gets screwed i'm not that worried). Thanks!

Disclaimer: I haven't lived in the Seattle area for over a year, so the following info may be a bit dated.
There is a shop in Chinatown (on that main arterial road that intersects all of the side streets, heading away from the bus/train station) that also has a satellite location at a kiosk in the Lynnwood mall. I believe the name of it A(something) Wireless.
PS: I just re-read that post and it seems like a whole bunch of words that explains nothing, but I hope it helps anyway!

That shop doesn't have anything but faces and keypads. I think that street is jackson though.

I'm not sure if we have the same Chinatown shop in mind. The one I went to get aftermarket LEDs put into some 8290s (again, over a couple years ago) also had displays of various grey market phones, on top of the usual selection of faceplates and accessories.

Probably not cuz the one i have in mind only sold phones with activations. i know of three wireless stores in chinatown but know for sure that one closed down. The one i had in mind is on jackson (i think)close to the freeway overpass.

thanks all, I checked the one out on Jackson (you were right) just to make sure, but it's just pretty standard activations, faceplates, etc. stuff... still looking, although one of my friends told me to check out the B & I down in Tacoma (if you know what I am talking about, then you are truly a native of South Tacoma!). Thanks for the replies though!
