8 bit sms

some times when i receive SMS, it shows 8-bit as the header and the only thing i can do is delete... anyone knows what the hell this means...?

i used to get this on my panasonic gd92. Its when someone sends you a picture message...the ones found on 8210, 3330 etc. (dont confuse this with photo messages). and basically the phone cant read them. They are only meant for other Nokia phones.
