i searched and couldn't find anything on it.

i bought a sharp 905i tonight, using hypersim, calls in/out are fine, text messaging in is fine as well but outgoing i'm having difficulties, it keeps giving me an error and says "transmission failed." I'm on rogers using a 3040 sim card.

sorry if this is a newb question.

thanks for the help
Rob

Yeah, check that. Set it to +17057969300 and choose "International." I think it will reset it back to Docomo after you turn off the phone though.

is there a way to prevent that? wouldn't it be inconvenient if it keeps changing back?

Hmm I turn my phone off to charge everytime, and the settings don't change for me.

yea i just tried it again and it does reset to docomo again, anyway of turning that off?

Ever since I got my NextSim working, I've never had this issue. I've tested with sending and receiving and both are fine. In fact, it automatically changed the call center for me which was quite a surprise.

Rob187jj, if you list your phone settings, I'll compare them with yours.
