Is there anyway I can disable the auto-complete when I'm texting? ( For example I may be texting a word in slang , but the auto-complete drops another word down instead)

All you can do is hit the [X] next to the word it is suggesting.

Thanks. But besides that is there anyway I can turn that feature completely off?

no you can turn it off in your settings...

I don't think you can turn it off in your settings. If your iPhone is jailbroken, there's an app that disables the auto text. I can't remember the name of it off hand; you can probably do a search and find out.

Well the nice thing about the auto-complete is if you type the slang word enough times (by x-ing out the suggested word), it will learn to add it to the iPhone's dictionary and will eventually suggest the slang instead. I didn't actually count but I think I typed a slang word twice before it remembered it.

hmm, yeah I just checked. I'm wrong. Could gave sworn I saw that option
