Problem with Blackjack II sending out Outlook Appointments

I just upgraded from a Cingular 2125 to a Blackjack II and with my 2125 i was always able to send out Outlook appointments to people no problem. Well now with my BJ2 when i send out an appointment for a future date and time it comes thru to the person with the date and time i actually sent the appointment.
What in the world am i doing wrong?

Is it true that now you have to use exchange email for this to work correctly? This wasnt the case on my 2125.
