I need to remove pics off my SCP-8100

I have an old sprint phone its a Sanyo SCP-8100 I got a data cable from the sprint store. When I hook it up to the computer nothing happens. My computer doesn't recognize the phone. Does anyone have any ideas for me.

I believe you can do this with Bitpim... http://www.bitpim.org/
You might need to track down a Sanyo Driver too...

Thanks, I have both installed, computer doesn't notice that I plugged something in. Is there something with the phone that needs to be done. Something needing to be turned on?
