You may need to change your registry settings to this effect:
You may need a registry editor like PHM Registry Editor.

Remove Sent Message Popup With SMS

1. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox
2. Next, click on Inbox (make sure the Inbox is highlighted) and select Edit, New Key
3. Name the New Key as "Settings"
4. Click on "Settings" (make sure the Settings is highlighted) and select Edit, New String Value
5. On "Value name:", key in SMSNoSentMsg and in "Value data", key in 1
6. Soft reset your device and test it with one SMS, and you will notice that the SMS Sent bubble is being disabled

and you can only use WM 6.1 that's for Samsung Blackjack II. Don't try hacks for other phones as you'll kill your phone.

is there 1 out for the blackjack 2?

No, none exists from Samsung as of yet so you gotta wait for one to leak or when the final version is available from AT&T (but probably just on the samgsung site again HEHE)

Well, and another issue is the current lack of a known working Bootloader specifically for the i617 (BJII). I don't think anyone has tried the i600 one being used for the i607 (BJI). If there was a loader, a cooked version using the current BJ II ROM dump and files/modules from other WM6.1 ROMS could probably be combined to get most the way there. So for now, the above post remains correct.

i have a reg program but i cant find 1. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox

Odd.. I double checked on my own phone before posting. Does anyone else have / not have this line in their registry?

Posted by: piggy954

i found this and this almost works but i cant fint the last settings folder

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings you need to create a DWORD, title SMSNoSentMsg and value 1

do you guys think windows mobile 6.1 will be able to let bj2 users have ringer i.d's for texts or is that a hardware problem?

Posted by: SHoTTa35

it probably wont. That's just a software issue that's not enabled in Windows Mobile. I've seen some phones (i think a motorola V600) that played your ringtone for your contact when you got a text but it sucked to a point cuz i thought they were calling me. RinngerIDs i guess if implemented differently would be nice but then you'd have 1 ringer for voice and one for text.

Oh well, the BlackJack II will officially get a WM 6.1 upgrade from AT&T but we just gotta wait till then i guess. Hopefully one leaks though. Someone made a comment saying they (Samsung) SHOULD want to realease their software before the iPhone 3G comes out because after that it might be tough selling them. The iPhone will come with 3G and MS Exchange support now so there's isn't much holding it back now for lots of people.
