6275i: Making my own charger???

Hi!

I have a Nokia 6275i. Lately I've found the 2mm charger connection is very difficult to connect, and I'll spend a few minutes twisting and fiddling with it until it finally connects and starts charging. (Then I quickly whip my hands away and don't touch it for the next three hours in fear of disturbing it again.)

I'm not sure whether something has come lose inside the phone, probably because I sleep with it next to my bed and sometimes knock it off onto the floor. I'm quite convinced that the problem is the connection inside my phone and not the connector wire, as I can almost physically see from the outside of the phone how loose it is inside.

All this to say, last night following a particularly far and hard drop down onto a marble floor, I could not get my phone to connect. All this morning, I could not get it to connect either. I've since turned my phone off, because the Low Battery beeping was driving me insane.

I have:

-Nokia 6275i
-CA-53 USB connection which I don't really need anymore since I've already modded my phone to my heart's content
-A now useless Nokia 2mm charger. (at least I think it's 2mm )

I've sent away for an actual BL-6C battery charger from China, but China is an awfully long way away and I don't expect it for a while. And I use my phone a lot. A lot, a lot.

IN CONCLUSION: (Finally)

Can anyone tell me if its even possible to cut the CA-53 Pop-Port wire and the wall charger wire and connect them back together in some way? I'm usually the type of person that would just get some scissors and electrical tape and go for an adventure in cheap uninformed wiring, but with this I feel a little more wary continuing on without proper instruction...

PLEASE!?!!?!?!?!???!!!!?!?? Any prompt response will do, I don't even have a home phone.

Or if anyone knows of anyway I could alternatively charge a BL-6C? Or have any tricks on getting it to connect?

I'm getting worried. I'll feel kinda naked without a phone... I can't imagine being downtown alone with no way of communication. I ALWAYS have my phone with me...
