as title..

Might as well define other popular acronyms here if you don't mind. Thanks

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency medical procedure for a victim of cardiac arrest or, in some circumstances, respiratory arrest.

but seriously, it is when your phone goes OUT and loses its signal and fails to regain the signal. You then shove your sim + simhack into a local phone (like the phone given to you by rogers) and start it up and make a call and shove it back into your JDM phone and the signal is revived.

Oh I see...

let me just reiterate what the person above me just said.

on those new docomo phones, there is this one thing called an "OUT" issue.
it occurs when because not all SIM hacks are perfect.
this happens to some people and to some people, it happens rarely (like me).
baiscally what happens is that the phone looses signal and then it wont get ever get signal again by itself.
what does that mean? that means, you have to take out the SIm hack from your phone and stick it into a phone thats is not a docomo (like say, your fugly razr phone) and let the razr regain the signal back for you.
then you can put the phone back into the docomo again and have the phone working again.

to some people the OUT issue happens often

to me, its rare. it really all depends on your location, your service provider and most importantly, weather you travel far or not.

not necessarily. I stayed at home and only roamed around at home for the past few days and I've had around 5 outs. Not only that, I just recently performed my very first CPR on the sim and I haven't gone out at all.

so CPR is the acronym of the synonym which doesn't stand for anything meaningful for cell phones?

we use this term because we made it up and so that people like you (complete NOOB) will stop asking stupid questions by using the search button and reading threads!

dude most phones work fine with the hypersim attached to the sim. Some examples included my locked Nokia 6300, and Sony w300 (both were given to me free from fido/rogers)

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by the chips don't connect but I don't think it matters because most of us all know that to do a CPR the methods posted above is it. The only way the hypersim and sim wouldn't work on your normal phone is if the hypersim is incompatible or something rare like that. xP

I'm too tired to argue with you so I'll just keep it at that.

your locked phones, does your hypersims able to use other sim cards? I have a few and they were able to use other sim cards on att and tmobile phones that were locked
