I tested my P905itV with i-smartphone 2008 hypersim and I was surprised it works with my roaming SIM(non-Japan SIM card) here in Japan. All functions are okay except with those related with NTT Docomo specific services like, oneseg TV, i-mode, etc.. but multimedia, camera, games are working. I am using it now for almost one week, only one time signal out, I restart the phone and working perfectly..

Well, at least you can text both ways, and you have a handy excuse for calling only on your terms . Blame the phone for people that want to call you but you don't want to listen to .

Anyone know if the p905iTV might work with Rogers 3g network?

thanks,

L

no. Docomo site says only SH905itv can roam on Rogers 3G in major cities.

Is it possible to be in the future with the help of hypersims ?

I found a sweet link. I not sure if its true or works for P905iTV.

if you look at its listings, it doesn't say it support P905iTV. Also, P905iTV is Docomo not Softbank.

3rd of all, just cause it can unlock 3G doesn't mean it will be supported in your country. You must check Docomo's website to see if 3G is supported first.
