I have been looking to move to VOIP provider. Thinking about Vonage but seem to heard many bad stories. Looking to hear your experience.

I like Voice Pulse, they seem solid and have a lot of online features that I like.

The biggest factor with voip is your brodaband connection. I have also used Packet8 and they are very reliable and less costly than Vonage.

I've used a few (Voicepulse, Packet8, Vonage, Voicestick). In the end I settled for Vonage, mostly because Vonage has both Canadian and American phone numbers, so I can maintain a 604 number and a 206 number.

It's a nice combination with my VZW NAC plan that includes roaming/long distance throughout the U.S. and most of Canada. When I'm in Canada, I just forward to my VZW cell, which gives me a local number without having to maintain a Canadian cell phone.

As has already been pointed out, the biggest factor in terms of quality seems to be the stability of the broadband connection.
