Does anyone know if MPT is compatible with my macbook pro? If so, would i need to download any plugins or anything like that?

I don't think that they make a special version of MPT for Mac. You might just have to install Windows XP with Boot Camp. Is it an Intel Mac?

I have an Intel iMac running OS X 10.5.2. Using Boot Camp (which is free with 10.5.x) I boot into Windows XP when I need Windows. This arrangement works pretty well.
What would you like to do on your Mac? I found it relatively easy, using a USB cable with my Motorola M800 bag phone, to get the M800 to make a data connection on the Mac. I also can fax from the Mac using the Motorola M800.
For some reason, I'm still not able to sync the M800 phone book either with the Mac (using iSync) or Windows (using MPT). I'm still working on that one.
In short, much of what you might want to do on your Mac can be done with tools other than MPT...
