Okay, I'm new but ran into this thread and I am having the same problem. I just updated to Leopard. Previously, my v3m was working just fine using a modem script I downloaded. It was from Sprint. Then I used:
Number: #777
Account: [Your Number]@alltel.net
Password: [Your Number]

And worked just fine. Now, I updated and it reads "....Can't Be Found". No idea. I'm assuming its the modem script I'm using right now too. Help! I read somewhere else about using bluetooth, but I when I try to pair, it'll let me pair, but I can't choose an option to let me use it as a modem. Can someone please help me by taking me step by step. Do I need some software?

In my Linux, Windows, and Palm tethering experience, I've been using these settings:

U/N: [MIN]
P/W: Any combination of numbers and letters, as long as something is there.
Number: #777

Try that and see how it works.
