Alright...I've had this phone for like 2 weeks. I'm trying to get my own ringtones on my phone. I did have the MSU and P2k commander, them my computer messed up, had to get it fixed, brought it back home and now the computer wont recognize my phone! UGH! I have Windows XP. It keeps saying

"Cannot Install this Hardware

There was a problem installing this hardware:

Motorola USB Composite Device

An error occurred during the installation of the device

Fata error druing installation"

I can usually do what I want with a computer, but I've spent the last 5 HOURS trying to figure this one out...and can't!

PLEASE HELP ME!

To my knowledge CDMA phones do not work with P2K Commander. The drivers for a CDMA phone are different than a GSM phone.
I don't know much about the CDMA version, but can't you just add the ringtones to the memory card? Of course if it is a Verizon branded phone they probably blocked that.

I was able to get ring tones with the p2k commander...and I tried to get ringtones on my memory card, but it wouldn't let me do it. And I don't know much about computer programs...so if you have time give me a little more detail...THANK YA'LL SOO MUCH!!
