ive been rolling with sidekicks for like 5 yrs now and my contract has ended (just in time too, my sk3 is kicking the bucket) and am interested in the LX

the thing is, i was on a family plan with my mom and sister but i never used the minutes so i basically only paid for my data plan.
My mom's work gave her a cellphone and my sister doesn't want one, and being that ive moved out for college and etc id prefer to just sign up alone and build my credit, be a grown up and stuff =]

i recall t-mo once offering a prepaid sidekick plan where you paid a dollar a day and you got unlimited text/internet and a selected amount of minutes? this was awhile back. I just don't wanna sign up for a plan that i'm not going to use, i really do rely on text/aim

Actually...everyone with a tmobile number gets a 10ddigitnumber@tmomail.net address. And if you look at that list it's a generalized list as it also lists tzones where you can buy wallpaper and hifi ringers.

Actually, I'm not sure of the future of the Sidekick prepaid plan. T-Mobile didn't update the plan to have unlimited MMS for the new devices that have the MMS application, so they charge .25 cents per MMS.

FlexPay is also a very good choice. You should look into that.

After quite a few years, T-Mo is back at the local Best Buy, and they even have the $149 prepaid Sidekick (no idea which model exactly, I'm new to them).

^That would be the Sidekick ID but I think T-Mobile stopped selling those, I haven't been able to find any id's near me.

I just picked up an iD over the weekend at Best Buy for the 150. Broke my Shadow.

They still carry them. I think even their website has them. Worth it for the keyboard. Don't know how I ever gave up my old Sidekick for the Shadow.
