Does anyone know if the Motorola T505 bluetooth/fm transmitter can work with the iphone for music? I got the bluetooth paired up, im not sure if its possible to link up the music so i can play it in the car stereo?

The iPhone doesn't support stereo bluetooth, which is what that device uses to transmit the audio.

This is true, but just a warning. I have a car with a stubby antenna in the back. All of the FM Transmitters that I've tried don't work with it. Only with the ones whose antannas are internal or in the front.

Just get the Digipower iPod Navigator FM transmitter from Canadian Tire. It works well with the iphone and charges the battery while you listen to music. I got one for $10.00 when it was on sale and it works great.

Quake is correct. The T505 requires A2DP from a handset, to then broadcast music out over the FM frequency.

iPhone does not support A2DP today.

We may see it with firmware 2.0 in June though, so who knows. If we do, I could definitely see buying one of these -- nice idea, hopefully it performs well in the car.
