As the title says I am a noob to the iphone and was hoping to get some help or a little information.
I am from Canada and using an unlocked phone with the newest software version 1.1.4.
Can I get access to "edge"? I try to activate some applications but get the you are not an edge subscriber.
Other than going through all of the posts is there a great place to get all the information that I am looking for such as how to's or tips and tricks?
Thanks for the help, it will take a bit but I am thinking that I am going to like this phone!!

first off....do you have a data package on your rogers or fido account? Secondly, you will need to input the edge settings to get it to work. In settings go to general, then network, then edge. I use:

internet.com
guest
guest

I would advise to only input the settings if you have a data plan on your account. Otherwise, you will rack up a $1000 bill in no time.
