I mean, it the difference between being truly pocketable and a brick. I.e. wear loose shorts, run with the Tilt in your pocket, and your pants may fall off. It doesn't for me with the TC. And I don't need a real keyboard anymore because of all the new 3rd party KB apps, esp. the free PCM Keyboard. Cootek/Touchpal are other great ones. I find I can now type just as fast on those as on the physical thumboards of the Tilt and the like.
Otherwise, they are feature-equivalent. So, the function the same exact way essentially. If the lightness/small form factor/uniqueness matter to you that much, then yes, its worth it (it is for me). If not, save the money, get the Tilt. EDIT: also, the TC is unlocked, but since its easy and free to get the Tilt unlocked, this isn't an advantage for the TC. So, don't list "unlocked" as an advantage for the TC, cuz easy and perfectly legit to unlock a Tilt. |
