hi, does SoftBank 920SH YK work in europe? i want to buy it from ebay.

yeah, it should work, since it work on both GSM/3G, but you have to find a sim hack that will work with it first. Though i guess, the regular 920SH sim hack will work just fine with it.

920SH works but you can only make both calls and sms in and out but not their media functions i.e. camera.

all the media function on the 920SH is still locked at the moment, i think you'll need to be on their network, or at least with their UIM card in it to use those functions.

isn't the only different between the 920SH and the YK version is just that you can use the YK one to check the stock market rates... if that's the only reason, it's so pointless to me, when don't they just release an app just for that specific reason for the 920SH

There are dedicated buttons as well.
