Palm software: Mac or XP?

My friend just bought a pink Centro which will be her first smartphone. At home she has both a Mac and a PC. She was wondering if there is any kind of advantage one has over the other when it comes to syncing and managing her phone with the Palm software. Thanks,

seems the PC comes with more apps and conduits and ability to interact with other apps and data than the Mac software. The Mac software is dated and not really kept up nor are the conduits unless you get something after-market like The Missing Sync. I use both, and mostly the Mac, but wish it had some of the abilities of the PC. When not run and load them both and sync them both too have 2 copies of data? Whats the harm?

Yeah, that's not a bad idea. It's too bad they don't keep up with the Mac development though. Thanks for the help.
