Blackjack II: Speed Dial Issues

I searched and didn't see any references to an issue my g/f is having with her new Blackjack II.
We set up Speed Dial to start an app say Task Manager, since WM Standard doesn't close programs. Assigned it to location 5. It works great for a while. But then, later, it no longer works. And it won't work until she does a power cycle of the phone. Not sure why this is the case, She's not really running any strange software on the phone. But essentiall all Speed Dials stop working. She can hold the button down forever, and it does nothing but register the number.
Anyone else see a similar issue? Any ideas what the cause might be and how to fix it?
Thanks!

I have never used speed dial, so I can't comment specifically on this issue, but I can offer a bit of a work-around for opening Task Manager. Simply hold down the home key to open it. I just wonder if assigning a program to a speed dial location might be causing an issue.

Hey thanks! Good to know about the Home key shortcut...
Assigning apps to speed dial shouldn't be an issue normally. I did it on my old BJ and it seems to otherwise work on the BJ2. The Home key will help in that we won't need to set up a separate speed dial for Taks Manager. but I've also assigned Google Maps to speed dial and it was having the same issue. We've since returned the phone for a new one, in case it was an issue with that unit. So far, so good with the new one, though because it was intermittent, its hard to say if it won't happen on this one.

TaskManager shortcut with Home button works for both BJ1 and BJ2. In BJII, you can also assign Fn+key combinations to launch applications instead of speed dial.
