Anyone have any luck getting this to work on 1.1.4?

yes it works fine for me on 1.1.4. Since you haven't asked anything specific it's hard to help you out, but I'm gonna take a guess here. Is it crashing back to the home screen when you open it? If so, uninstall it, install SUID lib fix, reinstall Customize beta. and it should be opening and working then. If that's not your problem, let us know what is; and let us know if that works for you. (its ok it will say suid lib fix is just for 1.1.3).

I'm sorry---I wasn't clear. I haven't actually downloaded the Customizer yet. I wanted to check to see 1st if anyone was using successfully. I will try & report back. Thanks--

Ok just downloaded & it appears everything loaded ok except when I select "customize" and say "Application Icons" the only listed to select from are in the "orginal backup". There is nothing else to select no matter what image I go into change.

I uninstalled this beta version & installed the 1.21 that states has been modified to work with 1.1.3 & 1.1.4 & I still have no icons to select from...??

can someone tell me what the main difference is between customize 2.0 and the old one customize 1.21?

i have customize 1.21 on my 1.1.4 right now and everything works fine except it doesnt let me hide icons with the manual reorder part. I used to be able to when i had it on 1.1.2.

now i have to use the program Poof to hide icons, but that still leaves me with an icon for that program.

Did you have to load all the different icons to select from ??? I have nothing to select to "customize" in either version????

ok....duh I figured out you have to download the "file sets" then apply. Yikes I am really new to the Apple Iphone.....

...Are there other "respositories" thru Installer that have nice icon sets??? Is there a way to view before downloading?

in customize 2.0, they have theme browser. and there you can go through different themes and various specifics like battery icons, etc. most of them have previews for you there.

after upgrading to 1.1.4 recently i got customize 2.0, and was looking around desperately for the icon order changer lol. thought it was the stupidest thing to take out of the program when it was the most important part of the original.

...then i realized that it was now built into the iphone hehe

Anyone else having issues with viewing new themes? Previously it worked fine when I would clear the cache, exit the program and then open it back up and go to new themes but now its been several days and the exact same themes are listed at the top of the new page.

EDIT: Actually just checked the customize web site and discovered the problem - no new themes have been added in at least 4-5 days for whatever reason. I used to refresh a couple times a day and there would be new stuff up there and now nothing for some reason...

Go to http://customizeapp.com and register your S/N then you get the link to put it in installer.

anyone know why customize continually wants to update everytime i go into installer
from 2.0.0B5 to 2.0.0B8 and back again?

Its from 2 different sources, one thinks it has the latest so it tells you to update, then the other one has the real latest and they conflict each other, just get the 0B8 one.

Does anyone know where the sounds go? I have tried the Austin Powers "you've got mail" & the yahoo sounds. I download them---they download so quick the bar doesn't even fill, then I get the "uninstall" button which makes it appear it's downloaded. Then when I go into "customize images/Sounds I can't find the sound anywhere??
